This is the first monograph on the work of Elmyr de Hory, one of the most notorious art forgers of the twentieth century. It includes a selection of his legendary fakes (or homages, as the artist called them) of Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Raoul Dufy, and Auguste Renoir, all of whom worked in Nice and on the Côte d’Azur, as well as of Kees van Dongen and Amedeo Modigliani.
